Controversial second-hand car dealer Joseph “Khalif” Kairo Wambui has been re-arrested over new fraud allegations. He was taken into custody on March 25 at Milimani Law Courts after attending a mention of his three ongoing fraud cases.
The fresh charges stem from claims that he received full payment for a car but failed to deliver it. Kairo, who had recently issued a public apology for his past mistakes, now faces further legal trouble and is set to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
Following his arrest, he addressed his supporters on X (formerly Twitter), expressing determination to overcome his challenges and rebuild. He described his setbacks as temporary and emphasized resilience, urging his followers to keep supporting him.
Earlier, he had posted a heartfelt apology, acknowledging his past mistakes and calling for forgiveness. Despite his legal troubles, Kairo remains defiant, insisting he will make a strong comeback and continue striving for success.
